History
1899
This is when the history of EMANUEL begins. We were founded in Turin, Italy with the name “Società Commerciale Giovanni Emanuel & Comp”. Initially the only equipment was a lathe to repair farm machines.
1911
The company started working for the newborn automobile industry and the years after it started producing equipment, such as small hydraulic jacks for maintenance of auto vehicles.
1950
After WWII the factory was completely rebuilt after it was severely damaged during the war. During the 60’s and 70’s EMANUEL became leader in Italy and one the first companies in Europe selling lifting equipment’s, car washing plants and compressors.
1974
During the oil crisis, EMANUEL was forced to close the factories in Turin and the company was acquired by Mr. Dario Manzini, one of the most important distributors of EMANUEL in Italy. The company was then moved to Bologna where a new production of lifting equipment and car wash plants began
1980
EMANUEL started specializing in the industrial vehicles lifting equipment’s. The main focus of the company has always been to offer a reliable, high quality product and to offer a good service to all its clients
1992
EMANUEL was the first company in Italy to obtain the European Certification (CE) for mobile lifting columns.
1999
In 1999 – centenary of its foundation – EMANUEL has started producing and installing lifting columns for trains.EMANUEL has already sold and installed more than a thousand mobile columns in the Italian market.
2003
Emanuel srl has strengthened it’s international participation in the USA, CANADA and all South America.
2009
A big step in the quality of the company has been the installation and activation of a big solar panel system. EMANUEL started using energy produced by almost 360 mq. (3875 sq feet) of solar panels making the factory completely independent and zero impact. With this important incentive 60.000 kWh are on average generated.
2015
EMANUEL continues investing in the improvement of the products. In spite of a period of economic recession in Europe. The turn over is improving year by year, this testifies the high appreciation of EMANUEL products internationally and nationally.
2017
The new EMANUEL offices at the factory in Anzola Emilia have been inaugurated. The new office areas of 5400 sq feet testify the will to keep investing and improving in the company.
2018
We expand our product range, bringing to market the new CSF lifting boogie platform and completing our line-up of ST ergonomic positioners. With the CSF, Emanuel is able to offer a product that can be highly customized according to client’s specific needs and expands it ‘s railway product range. Each one of the new ST models presents unique features, and it’s suitable for the most different applications.
2019
Emanuel turns 120 years old! bringing in XXI century its values of reliability, quality and continuous technological advancement. We continue with excitement the successful history that characterized our Company up to now.
2021
Emanuel announces the acquisition of a 3,000 sqm warehouse dedicated to the expansion of the plant, located in Anzola Emilia, Italy. The investment has the strategic objective of consolidating and supporting EMANUEL’s growth and will be fully operational by the first quarter of 2022. The new expansion of the company responds to the need for programming and growth of the EMANUEL product range and the increase in demand of the Italian and global markets.
